Cassidy Ratliff

Cassidy Ratliff’s imaginative free spirit lead her to start dancing at only 2 years old. At age 10, she began blending her love for dance with a new found passion for acting at The Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Acting opened the doors to finding real emotions to infuse true storytelling into her dancing. With the support and encouragement of her parents, Cassidy continued her training and graduated from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts with her BFA in Dance Theatre. When she is not performing, Cassidy enjoys working out, creating art through a small lens, and enjoying life with her little pup Tia.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… quirky, innovative and authentic.

Dance is... fire. A small spark of movement that is so flammable and contagious, you can’t help but touch everything in reach with its light.

My last gig taught me... the importance of being the most authentic version of yourself the moment you walk in the door. Once you are able to be 100% present and comfortable being unapologetically you, I find to be the most successful within my work!

Proudest performance moment... thus far would be having the honor of playing the iconic role of “Riff” in AMDA’s adaptation of West Side Story renamed, “East Side Story”. Growing up I always knew I wanted to perform, but always felt separated between dance and acting. Ending my senior year with this production was the perfect blend of both. I was able to have dialogue and play a character all the way through the show, while dancing at the same time. It was truly a dream came true and a perfect way to end my college career at AMDA.

Most embarrassing audition... was a commercial mostly because of my fellow auditionee. We were asked to come prepared with this “simple movement” that was pre recorded to memorize ahead of time. Well this simple movement was a step-touch. We were called into the room four at a time and I was lucky enough to be in the middle of two girls who both didn’t know we had prepared material. On top of that, they didn’t know what a step-touch was so I knew it was going to be an interesting audition! We were asked to act as if we were texting a friend then start doing the simple movement once the camera man called out “5’6’7’8’”. Well once he counted us in, you can only imagine the amazing dancing that was going on either sides of me.

Most challenging gig... would have to be being in a commercial with my parents! It was quite the experience let me tell you. It was for a series of commercials called, “Keep Arkansas Beautiful”. In my episode, I was the prom date and of course featuring my parents. It was interesting seeing my parents act and be nervous wanting to get each shot perfect, but with that came stress and arguing. Overall, it was an awesome experience I wouldn’t change for the world.

Favorite dance style... are Hip hop & Contemporary, but I love them all’

Pre-performance ritual... Prayer. Meditation. And Superman Pose.

Stay in shape by... working out around 6 times a week at Barry’s Bootcamp, taking at least 1-3 dance classes a week, and being fully committed to the Keto Lifestyle.

The moment I knew I wanted to be a dancer... was the moment I realized the impact movement had onto others and how you are able to share your true feelings without saying a single word.

Song that moves me... “All Through The Night” | By: Sleeping At Last

Favorite music video... “Pretty Hurts” | By: Beyoncé

Broadway show... Hamilton The Musical.

Person who shaped my perspective on dance... wow well I feel there have been more than a handful of humans who have shaped my perspective on dance that I am oh so grateful for, but there are two people that stand out in 2018 who really helped me develop who Cassidy is as a performer and more importantly as a human. Those two humans are Genevieve Carson and Fresh Redding. They deserve all the praise the world can give!

Dying to work with... Chris Brown

Silja Rós

Silja Rós is an Icelandic actress, singer-songwriter living in Los Angles. She is an alumni from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She released her debut album “Silence” in 2017 and her and Magnus Dagsson just released the album “Afflicted” last month. Silja Rós is currently recording new music for her solo project as well as writing/singing music for other artists. This summer she was part of the Icelandic movie “Þrot” which will be released in the fall of 2019.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… hardworking, optimistic and kind.

Acting is... doing your research, working hard and then just being in the moment, listening with all your senses.

My last gig taught me... to enjoy on camera work. I was filming a movie back home in Iceland and it was definitely the moment I realized that I would love to do more film work, before the movie I mostly saw myself as a stage actor. It was the most fun I’ve had, and it was crazy that I could call it my job.

But the most important thing I’ve learned during a project was during my grad play “The Country Wife”. Lady Fidget taught me self-confidence. The character had to be very confident so I worked on it in myself as well as being able to step into her shoes.

Proudest performance moment... was when I was working on a scene from A Doll’s House in class and the first time I truly felt I was listening 100% was during the class performance.

Most embarrassing audition... was when I was auditioning for a part in a musical I was already a part of. I don’t know why I became so nervous, in my mind I was so sure that they had made a mistake hiring me that I forgot everything that I had prepared. Totally blanked. But somehow they didn’t lose their faith in me and were actually really supportive. The director decided to send part of the room out and worked with me and helped me through the audition. I ended up getting one of the leading roles.

Most challenging part... I worked on a scene from the play Children’s Hour and I played the role of Mary. It was so hard for me because we were so different. I was bullied a lot as a child and now I was playing a bully. And it was very challenging for me to justify her behavior and fully understand the point of it. Children don’t always fully understand that their actions can actually lead to very serious consequences. The play reminded me a bit of the movie Jagten (The Hunt).

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... when I stepped into my first acting class when I was 11 years old. At that time I loved being able to escape from myself and be someone entirely different. But today I’ve learned to love being myself as well and focus on the art of storytelling. But it’s magical to be able to step into others’ shoes.

Dying to work with... in music Damien Rice. In acting Domhnall Gleeson and Elisabeth Moss.

Was born to play... Nora in Dollhouse and Éponine in Les Miserables.

Learn lines by... using all kinds of methods. First I make sure I understand every single word and my objective. Then I record the lines of the other actor and repeat them naturally while I’m cleaning my apartment or doing some kind of a workout. I need to connect my body and the words together. I also write the lines out on cards, read the other actor’s lines and try to remember my lines.

Get into character by... knowing their body. Knowing their status. I often use the Chekhov technique to feel the tension between the characters and sense memory if I need to get into a certain state of mind. I also love using viewpoints.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I can fit my whole fist in my mouth.

Movie I can’t stop talking about... About Time! Love that movie!

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… 1) Trapped! An Icelandic TV show by Baltasar Kormákur. A must see! 2) Stranger Things 3) The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel & New Girl. Then of course Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)

Currently reading… a lot of books at the same time which is kind of my style (All you need to know about the Music Business, Macbeth, The Secret, You Are a Badass, Meisner, The Actor and the Text, An Actor Prepares, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck and The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide.

Car karaoke tune... Sunny Boney M

If I weren't an actor or musician, I'd be... a painter.

Stranger Things character that best represents me… Nancy

If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Amanda Seyfried because she’s also a singer-songwriter.

Actor crush... I must be too in love with my boyfriend because I can’t even think of one.

Sign… Leo Sagittarius rising

If I were a color, I'd be… yellow, gold, red or light blue.

Hotel alias… When the time comes…it will probably be Moli, the name of my childhood cat.

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… is the beach, since I come from an island I’m very used to being around the ocean, just to be able to see it is calming.

The best advice I ever got… is always to be true to yourself. Listen to your instinct or follow it. Always trust yourself, you can do anything you want to.

You can find me on… Spotify, iTunes, Youtube, www.siljaros.is and IMDb.

In real life at CorePower Yoga, Tiago or at the rooftop of my building.

Simone Sassudelli

Simone was born and raised in Italy and grew up acting in a small theatre company in his hometown. After graduating High School he moved to Milan to study musical theatre and started working in several productions. He then decided it was time to take a risk and leave his country to pursue his career. Simone is now about to graduate from AMDA Los Angeles and he’s working hard every day to make his dreams come true.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… Ambitious, passionate and goofy

Acting is... truth. It might sound contradictory but I believe acting is even truer than some moments in life. We might think it’s faking, because you’re portraying someone outside of you, but being someone else requires you to be believable and experience true moments. Life is sometimes so filtered by everything that surrounds us. Acting just means being sincere, frank and straightforward.

My last performing gig taught me... talent is not enough. Determination, consistent discipline and hard work are what really makes the difference.

Proudest performance moment… I played Snowboy (one of the Jets) in West Side Story and an important member of the audience who works in the industry stopped me after the show saying that I was living each moment on stage and he kept looking at me, even if I probably had 10 lines in the entire play.

Most embarrassing audition… There are many... but I would say when I only had one night to learn two songs for a callback and at the audition I sang the first verse and then I started singing “la la la” till the end of the song. I couldn’t remember a word… Very embarrassing!

Most challenging part... Probably playing Romeo back in High School. It’s a role that can be played only once Love really comes into your life and I hadn’t found it yet. I’d love to play it now!

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor / singer... When I was sobbing my heart out watching Mary Poppins flying over my head. It was also the first musical I had ever seen in my life.

Dying to work with... Eddie Redmayne and Kenneth Branagh

Was born to play... Bert in Mary Poppins and Glinda in Wicked, of course

Learn music by... listening to it over and over… and over. Before I go to bed and as soon as I wake up. They say it’s the best way to memorize things.

Get into character by... studying every aspect of it in the beginning (back story, behaviors, physicality, voice) so that I’m ready for the rehearsal process. At that point all I do is listen to the characters I’m talking to. I noticed how accurately you can define your character just by naturally reacting to the others’ lines.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I blink my eyes really really fast

Musical I can’t stop talking about... At the moment it’s definitely Dear Evan Hansen. ("the moment" has been going on for over a year. I am a little bit obsessed.)

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why and I’m looking forward to the next season of The OA

Currently reading… Mysterious Skin by Scott Heim

Car karaoke tune… All These Things That I’ve Done by The Killers!

If I weren't an actor / singer, I'd be... a cartoon dubber or a designer

Rent character that best represents me… Angel.

If they made a musical about my life, I’d be played by… myself or my future son. It’s something I’ve always dreamed of and hopefully one day it'll come true.

Actor / singer crush… There are many but probably the biggest ones would be John Mayer, Natalie Portman and Emma Watson.

Sign… Capricorn and my moon sign is Cancer.

If I were a color, I'd be… Green Green Green!

Hotel alias… Monét Green

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… OUE Skyspace Downtown. It’s California’s Tallest Open Air Observatory. I like to spend the whole day there when I go. Seeing that beauty all around makes me really happy and gives me a sense of freedom that I hardly find elsewhere.

The best advice I ever got… “Don’t try to be anything but yourself. Technique is great but if you’re only focused on being perfect then 99% of the time you’re gonna feel like a failure because you’re not perfect. You don’t wanna be perfect, you just wanna be real, you wanna be Simone having authentic moments of life.” my voice teacher J.

Krystyn Sayre

Krystyn Sayre is originally from Michigan but currently lives in Louisville, Ky. She spent most of her life living in the Chicago suburbs where she took her first acting class at Acting Studio Chicago. She then moved to Kentucky where she booked her first role as the Lead in the independent feature film “A Stranger on Earth.” In December 2017, she signed with Katalyst Talent Agency. She coaches weekly with Joshua LeBar Studios located in Los Angeles, California. Krystyn will be working on a Pilot this upcoming December in Cincinnati, OH.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… Passionate, Dedicated, Dreamer

Acting is... Art. Being able to be vulnerable enough to let go and truly become the Character.

My last gig taught me... While working on a short that takes place in the 70s, my background in Fashion and Costume Design helped keep costume accurate.

Proudest performance moment... I would have to say my role as Irene in A Stranger on Earth.

Most embarrassing audition... I had to mime and dance the whole audition. I remember meeting up with my sister and telling her how awkward I felt. I was offered the role the next day.

Most challenging part... When I first read this question, I instantly thought of acting as a whole. So I am going to answer the question that way. Living in the midwest can make it hard to push yourself to keep going when it seems like you could be doing so much more.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... I always loved being in front of the camera. I remember getting headshots when I was 12 and really fell in love with the role of the stylist. I felt that would be an easier goal to attain. After many years of hard work in that field I realized acting is my passion and just as attainable. I finally made the decision at 24 to take my first acting class. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Dying to work with... There are so many actors I would love to work with. Lately, I have been in love with so much of Nicole Kidman’s work.

Was born to play... I am always told I need to play Ariel in The Little Mermaid. My sister tells me I resemble her in so many ways. For example.. I want to be where the people are.

Learn lines by... I read through the whole script a few times. Then I break it down into sections. I do not move on until I have that down. If I am having a hard time, I will write out the lines. I always read my script before bed. I can’t tell you how much this has helped me.

Get into character by... Finding the character in the lines. One of the many things I have taken from my sessions with Joshua LeBar.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… Predicting the ending of movies/shows.

Movie I can’t stop talking about... Recently, I have been watching so many series but always re-watch my favorite movies. With that being said, I will forever quote 10 Things I Hate About You, Clueless, and Mean Girls.

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Hands down The Magicians, Stranger Things, and Santa Clarita Diet.

Currently reading… I was gifted a book by a director I recently worked with called The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

Car karaoke tune... If you know me, you know I am in the car a lot! I would have to say any song on the Kings of Leon album Only By The Night.

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... A Fashion Designer. I have a BA in Fashion Design. My dad tells me I will create my own line when I make it. I always respond with you know I’ll do it.

Stranger Things character that best represents me… Nancy. I am an older sister and very loyal to my friends and family. She is motivated to find the truth. I see a lot of myself in her.

If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Kate Winslet (With Red Hair)

Actor crush... Dacre Montgomery! :)

Sign… Leo!!! You would definitely know it if you met me.

If I were a color, I'd be… Olive Green

Hotel alias… Gloria “Glo” Olson

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… Since I currently live in the midwest, I do not spend much time by the ocean. So, when I am on the west coast, the ocean calls my name.

The best advice I ever got… I was in Chicago for my sister's graduation and we had to take an Uber. The driver was speeding down State Street almost hitting an elderly man. While holding on for dear life in said Uber the driver told me “Be Yourself. No one else can do it better.” I probably shouldn’t have tipped him but that advice was needed.

Nikki Gatzimos

Nikki Gatzimos is originally from Indiana.  She established Gatzimos Productions in 2016 with her first short film "Sisters".  She is currently working on the upcoming short film "Perfect Date" and webisode series "MisAdventures".  She is also working on the script for the feature film "The Farmhouse".  Nikki is represented by Prodigy Talent Agency.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… quiet. observant. strong.

Acting is... an art form with the ability to enlighten, entertain and alleviate. At its best it can enable people to see another perspective, showcase another viewpoint, and help us to learn more about each other ... about ourselves. Allow us to connect with one another, identify with each other and not feel so alone.

My last gig taught me... Grab craft services when you can.  You may not get another chance.

Proudest performance moment... Back home I was performing in a play and a well-respected critic attended the show.  At the end of the performance he gave us a standing ovation.

Most embarrassing audition... I was asked to mime making scrambled eggs and failed miserably.  #I'm not a cook.

Most challenging part... Juliet. It was my first role out of college and I hadn't learned how to deal with the pressure of leading a show.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... I always knew.  But when I was sixteen I decided that I was going to pursue acting.  I would be unhappy in life if I didn't.

Dying to work with... obviously Meryl. Frances McDormand, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Sarah Paulson, Laurie Metcalf, Viola Davis, Allison Janney, Sally Hawkins, Peter Dinklage, Ben Foster, Richard Jenkins, Michael Fassbender ... Coen Brothers, Alejandro Iñárritu, Christopher Nolan, Kathryn Bigelow, Ang Lee, Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Torro, Martin Scorsese, Gus Van Sant, Lynne Ramsay, Denis Villeneuve ... and of course, Roger Deakins

Was born to play... Lady Macbeth.

Learn lines by... Repetition and speaking out loud.  Lines always sound different when you actually say them versus saying them in your head.  I go over each section one by one, and I don't move on from the first section until it's memorized.  I focus on the beginning and any challenging sections the most.  I also look at the lines before I go to bed; I find that it helps me to remember them the next day.  Because of this, I don't ever wait until the day of to memorize if I can help it.

Get into character by... It depends on the role.  Some roles need more assistance than others.  Hair, makeup, and wardrobe always help.  Determining how the character walks, what her body language and demeanor are ... and the lines ... the lines help me to get into character.  There're usually one or two lines specifically that will embody the character.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… mmm ... I can alternately wiggle my eyebrows up and down.

Movie I can’t stop talking about... RBG, the documentary on Ruth Bader Ginsberg

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Better Call Saul, the final season of the Americans and I'm getting ready to finally watch Handmaid's Tale

Currently reading… Stranger in a Strange Land

Car karaoke tune... This is my fight song! Just kidding. I'm deathly afraid of singing.

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... a cosmetologist. ... but I do think I missed my calling as either a boom operator or a blood spatter expert.

Stranger Things character that best represents me… either Eleven or Joyce Byers (Wynona Ryder) ;)

If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Natalie Portman.

Actor crush... in no particular order - Denzel Washington, Charlie Weber, Chris Pine, Michael B. Jordan, Dominic Cooper ... and Marion Cotillard.

Sign… Aries, March 24

If I were a color, I'd be… Purple.

Hotel alias… Sarah Connor

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… I like to get away.  Go outside of the city.  Take a drive on the PCH and stop at a beach or winery.

The best advice I ever got… Be yourself.

Celine Rosalie

Celine Rosalie was born in Cologne, Germany. She is half Italian and a big part of her is Czech. She grew up mainly in Prague and Cologne, watching her mom perform on stage from a very young age. She went to a Catholic Choir school, spent 5 hours a day doing gymnastics, also singing and playing the piano while getting all her schoolwork done, but after an accident in gymnastics her whole life turned around and she started to focus solely on Acting. Therefore after graduating High School she moved to the UK to attend the Oxford School of Drama which led her to Los Angeles. She is currently finishing her conservatory training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, working towards getting into the conservatory’s Company. She wouldn’t be where she is now without the support of her family and the strong belief that it is that simple and dreams really can come true.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… A determined hardworking Dreamer and a hopeless romantic

Acting is... being vulnerable and experiencing beautiful agony through the exploration of somebody else’s soul to understand the behavior of humans in specific circumstances, further expressed through your own personal thoughts, actions and reactions.

My last gig taught me... that it’s all in the words, and the more you feed the words, the more reality and truth you get out of it.

Proudest performance moment... was the moment I let go for the first time as an actor. I didn’t think about what I should do or should be feeling, it all just came together. It was during a tough time in my real life but being able to feel that on stage and to use what was going on almost felt cathartic. I was the character. I had her thoughts and emotions. This was a scene that I was working on from the play Hedda Gabler, and it felt magical to be able to get there emotionally.

Most embarrassing audition... was when I had to audition for a mute character. I did my best to learn as much sign language as I could in the short time I had, but they wanted me to talk anyway and I didn’t really know what I was doing. It just felt wrong and so odd.

Most challenging part... Venus in Fur. She is just such a complex and strong character, I am still working on her and trying to completely get her. It’s a lot of fun though!

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... when I saw my mom performing on stage. I was enticed. I felt how the atmosphere of the theater changed and I started noticing how it affected the audience. Laughing, crying, I didn’t care, but I knew I just wanted to make people feel something that might change them or make them see things in their own lives they might have never noticed before.

Dying to work with... Meryl Streep, Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Quentin Tarantino, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron

Three years ago she made a decision to move to LA so she could start her acting career. In 2017 she graduated from The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts and became part of the 2017-2018 Academy Company. "Everyday is a struggle and it gets really hard sometimes, but there is not a single moment that I regret doing it. The feeling that you're in the right place doing the right thing is much bigger than any tough day."

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… I’d say determined, focused and I like to believe I’m fun to be around hahah

Acting is... the power of bringing life to things and people that are just written on a page.

My last gig taught me... how to deal with unexpected things happening on stage.

Proudest performance moment... The next few days after a show when people would get really surprised when they would find out that I was the one who played their favorite role in that play because it was so different from who I am in real life. That showed me that I was able to give life to that character and that people really believed in it.

Most embarrassing audition... Oh my God. When I did not understand the script at all and tried to read it from all perspectives I could think of. I just hoped that if I read it with confidence they would buy it. I probably didn’t make any sense but I gave it a shot! Never heard from them.

Most challenging part... It was definitely Billie from Women Of Manhattan. She got hit by her husband but found out that she actually liked it ‘cause she believed it had saved her marriage to be beaten. It was just challenging to understand where her feelings were coming from and how I would express them, how I’d be able to tell her story and believe in what she believed in.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... I’ve always known that I wanted to be an actor, I just never had the chance to face it or own it. The moment that changed it was when my Stepdad asked me what I would be doing if I could choose anything and that’s when I said that I’d be on stage. That was when things changed, when I said it out loud.

Dying to work with... I’d love to work with John Krasinski or Jason Bateman.

Was born to play... My dream role is Mimi from Rent!

Learn lines by... Writing. I pretend that I’m writing a letter to someone and I know that I have it when I’m writing all of it without checking the script.

Get into character by... Physicality. Mannerisms, body language, way of walking, way of sitting, way of turning their head, where they place their hands…

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… Okay. I have a character that I sometimes like to let out to make people laugh. It’s a Favela boy and when I get into it, the last thing you see is a girl. It’s so weird…

Movie I can’t stop talking about... Love, Rosie. I’m always telling people to watch that.

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Grey’s Anatomy, Schitt’s Creek, Game Of Thrones and I just started Rise and I’m really into it!

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… a storyteller.

Acting is... an exercise in empathy.

My last gig taught me... that I am my own artist, and no one can make my artistic choices for me. I have to have the confidence in myself as a storyteller to bring my own ideas into the room to foster collaboration.

Proudest performance moment... was when I first felt myself give way to the character. It was the scariest and most liberating experience I have ever felt. All of my "actor thoughts" were gone, and the character was living through me.

Most embarrassing audition... was in the 8th grade when I had to go first for the singing audition in front of the 200 other students auditioning, and I completely choked. I was shaking so bad from nerves, people could see it from the back of the room.

Most challenging part... I have ever played was actually an understudy role I did for an English Restoration piece called "The Busy Body". Braxton Hale

I am a 21 year old, aspiring actor from Indiana. I moved out to LA just over a year ago to go to the acting conservatory at AADA. I enjoy living an artistic lifestyle in any way, shape or form & I will be acting until I die.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… a creator, vivid & passionate

Acting is... the most intimate & emotionally draining art form in the world.

My last gig taught me... in the final cut, they probably won’t be using the take you felt so good about.

Proudest performance moment... When I was at AADA, my first exam play, I played Donnie in Natural Affection & I had to kill another actress on stage with a knife. Never have I ever felt like everyone’s eyes were on me at once.

Most embarrassing audition... My first audition ever, actually, if you can believe that... I drove all the way to Chicago for this DePaul University student film & I had to perform 2 monologues & cold read. I go into the room & do my monologues & then we get to the cold read (p.s, I was inexperienced & wasn’t aware I could look at the cold read materials before actually doing them) & there was a kissing scene in the cold read material. When it got to that point, i just froze & looked at the director for 10-15 seconds, seeing if he would tell me or feed me the next line... We both stood in silence for about 20 seconds & then he just told me that it was good & he saw what he needed. Excruciating awkwardness.....

Most challenging part... Staying positive in a world full of negativeness.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... When I watched Dead Poets Society for the first time in 7th grade English class.

Dying to work with... Jonah Hill on-screen & any Tarantino directed film.

Was born to play... The Joker. Or a true story psychotic guy of any kind. Also, Paul Walker’s son because I love Paul Walker.

Learn lines by... Writing down my cue line & then my line. Then, read my own writing instead of the script. Or make a lot of notes on the original script.

Get into character by... Doing relaxation techniques (thank you AADA) & walking around my house or wherever I’m at, talking to myself as the character. You gotta bring yourself into it otherwise it’s just a person saying words that anyone could say.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I can make myself fart..... sorry

My last gig taught me... to trust my instincts.

Proudest performance moment... Stay tuned!

Most embarrassing audition... I was off book, and ready to go! Once in the room, they wanted me to improv everything. “Throw the script away. Just improv it,” they said. I had zero improv training at the time. 😬 Now I do!

Most challenging part... Still to come!

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... when I was five and wanted to be a character on Dynasty.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… a dancer, a creator, and a thinker.

Dance is... my emotional outlet that lets me be the most raw form of myself.

My last gig taught me... how to be genuinley vulnerable on stage.

Proudest performance moment... When I was featured in an AMDA production and got a chance to showcase myself to the school.

Most embarrassing audition... was a while back for a competition scholarship. I completely blanked and froze up in the middle of the combo. It affected me more that it should have at the time.

Most challenging gig... was a show I was in called "ICONIC". I did a piece adapted from "Moulin Rouge" with very difficult partnering and my partner was not experienced in lifting. It was a long process to get it up to performance quality, but we made it happen!

Favorite dance style... Contemporary Ballet

Pre-performance ritual... a bad-ass self talk and some good, really deep breaths to calm my anxious energy.

Stay in shape by... by going to the gym 3-4 times a week to build strength and endurance.

Song that moves me... There are millions of songs that make me want to move, but one that moves me a lot is Desperado by the Eagles.

Favorite music video... "Elastic Heart" by Sia. She really brings dance into a new light for people to see and connects it to her music which I think is really amazing.

Broadway show... Cats, probably because I was definitely a cat in a past life, so I feel that I can channel that. I will be Victoria one day.

Person who shaped my perspective on dance... Genevieve Carson. She taught me how to explore different worlds when I dance, open my eyes and really "see" something new. It brought a more raw, human, experiential approach to my dancing and artistry that I'm extremely grateful for.

Dying to work with... Genvieve Carson's LA Contemporary Dance Company. I would also love to be on stage with Justin Bieber or J-Lo.

Currently reading... I'm currently finishing a series of short stories written by Stephen King. I'm really into scary stuff.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I can crack almost every joint of my body and I can clasp my eyelashes between my eyelids...

Movie I can’t stop talking about... is Romeo and Juliet by Franco Zeffirelli. In my opinion, it is the best Shakespeare performance ever done, and one of the best performances ever from both lead actors. It's mind blowing to me how their performances are so intense, natural and truthful while at the same time using such poetic and enhanced language.

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Eyes Wide Shut, Boyhood and Black Mirror (I'm more into films than TV series).

Currently reading… a few scripts of upcoming short films I'm doing? Does that count?

Car karaoke tune... Despacito, even if I'm not proud of it...

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... a dancer or a singer or an ice skater or a rhythmic gymnast. But excluding artistic professions, I'd be a veterinary nurse and I would take care of cute animals like baby sloths.

Stranger Things character that best represents me… the mother of the child who gets lost according to my boyfriend, because I'm very dramatic. I've never watched that show... I know, I'm not from this world, right?

If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… a young Olivia Hussey

Actor crush... Gael García or Eddie Redmayne

Sign… Aquarius

If I were a color, I'd be… white, a little of everything.

Hotel alias… Juliet Capulet

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… my dance or yoga studio. Whenever I go to those places, I feel stronger and more motivated.

The best advice I ever got… "(...) nunca se pone más oscuro que cuando va a amanecer". It's actually a quote from Isaac Felipe Azofeifa (I just researched it) that gave me a lot of hope in my darkest moments and has had a great impact on me. If I try to translate it, it would be something like this: The darkest moment is when the sunrise begins, or something like that.

Troy Lauduski

Troy Lauduski is an aspiring artist from Southern California who gave up the football cleats for a script while attending the University of Hawaii. His hopes and dreams revolve around entertaining others, on stage, in front of a camera or making a fool of himself on the mic. Just spinning around this rock at 67000 miles per hour trying to make a living doing what I love.

I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… a laid back perfectionist weirdo

Acting is... performance. I always felt that all performances whether it be dance, sports, singing, are all acting. We are all escaping who we truly are for that moment to be something else. To portray how we want to be seen by others.

My last gig taught me... that my potential is boundless. You never truly know how far you will go or how good you can be unless you go out and try. Don't be afraid to fail.

Proudest performance moment... In college I played Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. It was my first Shakespeare experience and I was stressed to the max trying to learn my lines and then trying to keep college students' attention with all the Shakespeare mumbo jumbo. Getting my first standing ovation when they brought me out on stage after the show, I will never forget. I felt so accomplished and loved in that moment.

Most embarrassing audition... I had to audition for a game show that was based on improv, and the last thing they do is make you defend a controversial topic. They thought it would be funny to have me defend Adolf Hitler. I was bright red but I wanted the job, so somewhere out there, there is a video of me giving a minute long speech about how Adolf Hitler wasn't really a bad dude... I did not get a call back.

Most challenging part... for me is living in this town and being patient for your opportunity to shine while watching others excel.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... as a kid in elementary school during recess, all of the boys would play handball or basketball or some sort of activity. I, on the other hand, took this opportunity to do weird impressions and corky faces for all of the girls around the jungle gym. The would laugh and beg for me and I knew that I wanted to make people laugh any way I could.

Dying to work with... the ever lovable Tom Hanks, the many faces of Gary Oldman, or Mr. Stark himself, Sean Bean.

Was born to play... the comic relief guy in action movies.

Learn lines... in silence. Just me, my script, door closed. More of a visual thing for me than memorization.

Get into character by... finding one similar aspect of mine and from the character I am playing. From that point I branch or and ask why did he say these lines this way and then what drove that to be the reason why. And slowly keep webbing out until I understand the character and why he does things.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… is my ability to pick up rocks and throw them with the gap between my big toe.

Movie I can’t stop talking about... is The Game. It's an old Michael Douglas movie but I alwasy recommend it to people, unique plot. Lots of twists. Watch it.

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Sneaky Pete (Giovanni Ribisi is amazing), Mindhunter (true accounts of serial killers, yes please), Black Mirror (the new Twilight Zone, give me more).

Currently reading… the next in a series I read, he's kinda like Indiana Jones. I'm a nerd I know but I like books with adventure and mystery mixed in with some historic facts.

Car karaoke tune... well if you know me, if a song I know comes on the radio, I'm going to sing my heart out. Anywhere from 2Pac to Elton John to Backstreet Boys to Garth Brooks. My nickname is Mr. Karaoke.....and yes I gave that nickname to myself.

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... a professional golfer. I've played sports all my life but nothing is quite as relaxing and peaceful as golf. It's just you vs yourself vs nature. Very calming experience for me.

Stranger Things character that best represents me… is Steve. Steve is a loverboy who even though the girl doesn't love him back is still gonna do the right thing and protect the kids no matter what.

If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Dave Franco. I think he pulls off the cool and funny guy thing well. And I would hope Hollywood would pick someone like that cause he pulls of that sexy look that i never could.

Actor crush... Lily Rabe from American Horror Story, I think she is amazing.....and the legend Harrison Ford. Mad crushing on him for life.

Sign… Virgo

If I were a color, I'd be… bright as hell, I want people to see my color and smile.

Hotel alias… Samuel Powers

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… anywhere where I can see the Hollywood sign. It motivates me and gives me motivation for why I am in this town.

The best advice I ever got… Troy, you are good, but damnit you aren't gonna get anywhere in life unless YOU believe it too.
