I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… Creative, adaptable, and purposeful.
Acting is… a passion of mine since I was a kid. The love for acting has been the fuel for many of my other creative passions. I feel it has grounded my need to communicate stories as a visual medium to the performance and character.
My last acting gig taught me… that it is fun no matter the circumstance.
Proudest performance moment… When a role that I believe I am the complete opposite of in real life, felt like it was actually me in the moment.
Most embarrassing audition… I unfortunately haven’t had enough auditions to have an embarrassing one yet.
Most challenging part... of anything really is to stay consistent. Dedication to the craft is necessary and takes time, and time is limited.
The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... was after realizing that every “I want to be a ____ when I grow up…” was inspired by a film where the main character was part that profession. I figured out that if I was an actor, I could pretend to be any or all of those professions. I think I was about 6 then.
Dying to work with... The list is too long, but at the top is Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Was born to play... Don’t know if I’ve figured that out yet. I think it will end up being a character I write for myself.
Learn lines by... listening to my own voice memos of my lines, and then running my lines with a voice memo of the other character’s lines.
Get into character by... Understanding the situation and scene very clearly. Knowing the story inside and out allows me to explore the world with my character. Once I’ve reconciled how I, Adam, would approach the given situations, I start to mold the character to me. Once that work is done, it makes it very easy to get into character.
Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… Drawing. I completely suck at drawing.
Movie I can’t stop talking about... At the moment it is John Wick 3.
