Jayse O’Brien is originally from Michigan, he moved out to California in 2007. He currently is part of the Academy program at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in Hollywood. He has been a professional voice over artist for seven years, working with clients like Apple, Mitsubishi, Nordstrom, and Makers Mark Whiskey. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife Lindsay.

Acting is... something that truly makes me feel alive.
My last gig taught me... that I audition in person much better than a self-tape.
Proudest performance moment... has to be my original character work, that I write and perform.
Most embarrassing audition... Showed up to an audition in business casual attire and quickly realized I missed the whole beach wear part.
Most challenging part... Probably an Industrial I did a few years ago where I had to play a robot, it was fun but very creatively limited.
The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... My junior year I auditioned for Grease, got a spot in the chorus and I was immediately hooked.
Dying to work with... Daniel Day Lewis
Was born to play... a villain in a superhero movie.
Learn lines by... recording them and listening back nonstop.
Get into character by... living in the character as much as possible.
Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I am double jointed.

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… The Office, any standup comedy specials, and anything narrated by David Attenborough.

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... miserable…. haha no seriously I’d be a professional drone racer. For the record I’ve never even flown a drone, just seems like something I could have been.
Stranger Things character that best represents me… I would say Mike because he would do anything to protect the people he cares about.
If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Taron Egerton because I think I would sound awesome with a British accent.
Actor crush... Right now it has to be Idris Elba.
