Adrienne Thomas is a Texan-born actress who splits her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco. A former Division I athlete, she has a true passion for combining her love of performing with her love of fitness. Portraying strong women both physically and emotionally is her forte.

Acting is… one of the few times in my life where I can explore vulnerability without fear of judgment. Where I can live out my biggest daydreams in earnest.
My last acting gig taught me… the depths of my own emotional responses to situations I would (hopefully) normally not experience (it was a pretty dark role).
Proudest performance moment… winning best actress for one of my first lead roles in the NorCal festival circuit
Most embarrassing audition… I’ve never actually had an embarrassing audition. So I guess that’s good? it’s more of the experience of gut-wrenching anxiety of not knowing if they liked you or not. Just typical actor stuff ;)
Most challenging part… my most recent role in which I played a sexual assault victim.
The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor… emerging from the womb. Apparently I was very dramatic on the table underneath the lamps.
Dying to work with… Viola Davis.
Was born to play… a superhero.
Learn lines by… I’m Meisner trained, so initial rote memorization comes naturally to me. Then re-learning the lines with my actual touch put on the words.
Get into character by… spending time by myself and daydreaming. I’ve always had a big imagination and loved to pretend.
Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… Probably my the fact that an entire pizza is my standard serving size.
Movie I can’t stop talking about… The Lion King. As a 90’s kid and someone with a cat named Simba, seeing it re-done in my lifetime has been everything.
Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Last Chance U (husband is an NFL coach and having been a D1 athlete myself I’m heavy into sports), Queer Eye, 13 Reasons Why

If I weren't an actor, I'd be… a Lawyer. And really aren’t all lawyers just failed actors anyways? :)
Stranger Things character that best represents me… None of them? I enjoy the show but don’t see myself in really any of them.
If they made a movie about my life, I’d be played by… Tessa Thompson.
Actor crush… Idris Elba obviously!

If I were a color, I'd be… Royal Blue or Neon Yellow since those are my two favorites.

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… All of it. I’m inspired by the hustle vibe of LA in general.
The best advice I ever got… You either win or you learn. There is no losing. Entertainment is about staying in the game the longest and outlasting the competition.
