Actress and singer Hayden Tweedie was raised in a suburb of Dallas, Texas where she began acting at the young age of five. As a child Hayden was cast as a recurring character on the television series Barney and Friends and was later a member of the Barney’s Colorful World national stage tour in 2003 which toured venues such as Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has found work in various feature films, notable short-films with the American Film Institute, commercials, and made a guest-star appearance on the TV series Law and Order SVU in 2015.

My last acting gig taught me… That God works in mysterious ways
Proudest performance moment… I was most proud of a scene I did where I had my neck cut open… hehe
Most embarrassing audition… My most embarrassing audition moment was actually a callback in front of director/producers for a project and I didn’t get the note to wear a swimsuit and was dressed in long sleeves, jeans and boots… yikes!
Most challenging part… I played a role where I had a British accent… that was tricky
The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor was when I was five years old and was in a theater production as a lion. After the show was over, I ran off the stage and told my mom I wanted to do this forever!
If I weren't an actor, I'd be... An Interior Designer or in some sort of PR work
Dying to work with... I have a whole list! Meryl Streep because… duh! Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman, Morena Baccarin, Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro or Will Smith
Was born to play... A character from the 1920’s
Learn lines by... I learn my lines best when I practice them out loud with someone. I have also found that moving around helps while saying them out loud
Get into character by... Depends on the character… but going over and over in my head what the character I’m playing is going through at that moment
Acting is… Magical, beautiful, exhilarating, moving and thought-provoking
Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I can burp really loudly… my mother would be so ashamed
Movie I can’t stop talking about... Fences
Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… Better Call Saul, The Night Of and The Mick… soon to be Stranger Things when the second season comes out! So pumped!
