I am (use a max. of 3 words to describe yourself)… Dorky, Passionate, Determined

My last acting gig taught me… that your dream could happen at any time, anywhere, regardless of age, ethnicity, or experience.

Proudest performance moment… The standing ovation after performing my first number "All That Jazz" from Chicago The Musical, as Velma Kelly.

Most embarrassing audition… It was one of my first auditions out of school, for a feature film starring Emilia Clarke. I felt like I was completely prepared for it but, of course, nerves took over once I arrived because, not only was I auditioning for a movie with Emilia Clarke, but the casting director cast huge box office movies as well. The audition required you to pretend you're beating up a girl. So beginning the audition, suddenly I blanked out on every single line and had to improv everything. Next thing I know, I'm on the floor pretending to strangle the camera saying words that don't even make sense.

Movie I can’t stop talking about... Remember the Titans

Top three Netflix / Amazon shows in my queue… New Girl, Stranger Things, The Crown

Currently reading… “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara

Car karaoke tune... “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston

Would switch careers with… I'm all about making your career your own and not having to try to make it like anyone else's. But if I were to switch my career with anyone, it'd be Sir Anthony Hopkins.

The moment I knew I wanted to be an actor... It wasn't really a moment as opposed to just a gradual feeling I had that intensified within time. My high school drama teacher, Scott Mcquaid, saw the potential in me when trying out an acting class, and he decided to train me and provide me with plenty of opportunities which led me to the realization of the passion I had to act.

If I weren't an actor, I'd be... non-existing. I really don't know what I'd do without acting, as crazy as that sounds. Because as an actor you get to play everything, as well as tell important stories that the world has yet to know.

Dying to work with... yet again..Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Get mistaken for… To be honest, I haven't been mistaken for anybody. If you see my pictures and anything comes up, let me know!

Was born to play... Mulan.

Learn lines by... Doing physical tasks such as cleaning or jumping around while saying the lines a bunch of different ways, so that you're able to get it into your body.

Get into character by... Getting yourself focused and being in the moment. Asking questions like, What just happened? How do I feel about it? How does my body feel? Where am I?... (having a prior moment).

Acting is… reacting. It's a way to escape from your own reality into someone else's.

Special skill I wouldn't put on my resume… I'm double jointed in a lot of places.

Secret I want everyone to know… I love eating chicken feet. It's one of my favorite parts of a chicken and I had realized that it isn't very common here in America.

Actor crush... Michael S. Garcia

Sign… Cancer

If I were a color, I'd be… Maroon

Fave travel destination… Indonesia or Malaysia. Because it's my home.

LA spot that inspires or relaxes me… Any part where I'm surrounded by nature and which makes me feel like I'm no longer in a city.

The best advice I ever got… The only person you need to compare yourself to is who you were yesterday. Always strive to be the best possible you could be.
